i don't really like horrors and films that actually make me scared, but i love films about serial killers/sociopaths/psychopats

Halloween 1 & 2, a nightmare on elm street 1 & 3, Hellraiser 1 & 2, Phantasm 1-4 (soon to be 5), dawn & day of the dead.

There's more but these are the ones I could be stuck on a desert island with for the rest of my life.

A Nightmare On Elm Street, The Grudge, Saw.

I love scary movies, but most of them (especially the recent ones) are dire and boring.

It's a bit corny but Grave Encounters 2 reduced me to tears

Nothing tops The Ring! I live for the suspense and the gloomy atmosphere throughout the movie and although Samara is like shown just once or twice she's as omnipresent as though she was in every single scene.

Halloween (1978) literally never gets old. I love all of then Halloween films. Even, Season of the Witch. The Friday the 13th films are good too & Nightmare On Elm Street, Texas Chainsaw, etc.

EDIT: Ugh, yas, Wrong Turn was good too. Haven't seen it in a while, tho!
