I always fear the worst when WWE tries to be inclusive and progressive because they've shown over time that their creative team literally doesn't have the range.

Though I'll give them a little credit -- they've stopped giving all the black wrestlers stereotypical "ghetto" and "thug" and "angry black man" characters so there's that. And the women are developing characters of their own besides "I'm pretty. You'd think you're prettier than me so I hate you" ones too.

I just don't have faith that the TV universe (the fans in the live audience) would be accepting. They're kind of the worst and always try to make the show about them.

This sounds really cool, but their fans won't like it. If they want to get more gay viewers they should just make the Divas more fierce.

it was "demeaning" at the time, but still it was procovative to their more christian-conservatives viewers. Did you forget that the Right-Wing christian groups tried to ban WWE in the early 2000's after they went with the Attitude era? Everything comes at the right time. Those storylines would get draggedT. if they were made in the 80's so let's not
