Brendan was innocent. He obviously has developmental disabilities, as his family stated, and was manipulated by the police, prosecutor, and his lawyer (ESPECIALLY the first one

). I hope they release him, and that he sues the police department and others for his suffering.
As for Steven, I'm still on the fence. Some of the evidence was obviously planted, and considering his previous run-ins with the police, I wouldn't be surprised if he was framed.
If you guys haven't watched or finished watching Making A Murderer, I highly recommend it. Easily one of the best shows I've seen. Ever. The ending is sad, because we all know what happens, but they present some good evidence.
