We'll have to hope that they play the edited down version, but I really didn't think the full length version was all that bad
I think it is to do with the length of the video rather than its content. Otherwise they could just play it after the watershed. I'm sure they'll play it regularly once they have the edited version, and then it will rise further on iTunes.

The video has had an effect, even if it has been disappointing so far Let's hope things pick up during the newt few days. I'm hoping for a Top 5 peak, I sort of ruled out number 1 a few weeks ago.
Well like I said before its a 6th single so you cant really expect it do as well as her other singles... I think thats the main reason over everything else because most people already have the album and for those who dont at this this point, if they hear a song they like they'll probably just buy the album... TV stations barely even play music videos anymore in the US anyway so thats not a big deal, I think Youtube has the most impact on stuff because BR took off amazingly soon after the video and that was before she started performing it
that's not a good excuse not many even watch those channels
MTV also plays videos early in the morning but you're right, it doesnt have that many viewers...
Musictalker, I saw it about 3 or 4 times on VH1 when I was getting ready for school... You have to be up really early to watch videos nowadays, that's why I miss the days of TRL so much

That's exactly why I did NOT see it, they play videos at very unreasonable times
they need to play videos in the evening, not the morning.

Yeah they used to do that, I remember they had a video block from 6pm-7pm every evening in addition to having TRL at 3pm and having a longer video block in the morning where they put two videos up against each other and you text in which video you want to see and the winner would get played next...
I thought MTV was trying to bring music videos back because there was FNMTV but ever since that, they just completely gave up :-/

FNMTV was a joke, cause they would have people talk or sing along while the videos were playing! I always had to turn it off.
IGF needs to die. It's getting to the point where I'm starting to hate it.
haha. When I first heard it, i thought that I was going to hate it SO much. Because I HATED BBP at the beginning, then ended up liking it when I bought the END the week it came out. But now I like IGF. But yeah...it is getting kind of old. I would like to see it go on until its year anniversary on the chart, then It can die!! haha
