you're underrating her success but she's definitely comparable to other artists in the top tier right now like rihanna, adele and taylor amongst others.

I can see the comparisons between Beyoncé and Rihanna, and even to an extent to Adele given that Beyoncé at times is a balladeer, but Taylor?

You don't make it to the big leagues by being a carbon copy of someone else.
You can find various inspirations of other artist that came before in all the big legendary artist, but they all have that special something that makes them uniquely them.

She set a blueprint of the R&B Pop Diva in a way that neither Whitney, Janet nor Mariah had done. That path is followed by the likes of Rihanna, Ciara, Tinashe, etc. It’s characterized by a bawdy self-confidence, a rap-like singing style, hip-hop beats, bravado, mixing soft but aggressive sexuality.

I mean, most popstars around here are put on a goddess like level for doing a whole lot less than Beyoncé. The fact that she slays so hard and that her peers are quite a distance behind her in that regard does amplify her which seems like an unfair goddess-like status, but I bet if everyone didn’t hype their fave to the heavens, Beyoncé’s fans wouldn’t act this way as well.

The problem is, most stans are just kidding when they use nicknames like WANEGOD, while Beyoncé stans seem to be serious, especially when they defend her when there's nothing to defend. I agree that she's done a whole lot more than pretty much any current girl, but you can't go around saying she's perfect. Just praise her as a human and don't sound delusonal.
