This. Only Fearless and 1989 were her eras which managed to drag more than a year since their release dates, and look what happened with the Fearless follow up aka Speak Now
RED was also absolutely massive at the start but quickly faded come summer 2013 so she had a time out of the limelight.
1989 on the otherhand is in a different scale of tsunami, sweeping the entire media and gp almost two years since its release. It's really for the best to take some time out.
Regina George will come back fall 2017.
