I live in the ghetto and pretty much know which people and blocks are where i should stay away from. But i feel like atrl members think they live in some fantasy land where everyone is equal, accepting and saints. If i followed atrl mentality it would have got me killed already. Its easy for members to have this logic when they live in a middle income suburban neighborhood, most of you don't know what its like to live in the ghetto.

Yeah, i'm a city kid so I know where to go and where not to go. Or, at least be careful when I'm in certain areas. Knowing when to leave before **** pops off, etc.

I'm sorry but I'm crying

After being more in the real world and working/college, I definitely think radical Liberal mentalities (which includes the SJW pool) are not super practical. I'm a liberal myself, but for everyone extreme there is a polar opposite extreme as well, and people need to remember that. While I think giving out aid and assistance to those who work their butt off and need to provide for their families is wonderful and they deserve, there are those who take advantage. We can't just hand things to people who who squander it and don't put in the work and dedication to make something better for themselves too. Sometimes life hands you absolute **** but you gotta make the best of it instead of wallow in your self-pity. You can't just assume every one and every part of town is full of people who wouldn't do you wrong. or even have your best interests at heart. Whether it's where you're from or who you're surrounded by, you have to put in the work and the street smarts to do better.

I live in a great place and never take bus or the subway. I only use my car to go from home to the office and some nice bars or the mall. So I'm not really street smart, even tho I know I should stay away from ghetto places.

A pretty big digression there. Not sure what that has to do with anything. But since you brought it up, the idea that poor people are in that position because of themselves is such an uneducated viewpoint to have. In general, poor people put in more hard work than the middle-class and upper-class. Many work 2-3 jobs. Not desk jobs, but hard-labour. The idea that poor people live on the suspense of handouts from others' and don't do anything for themselves is probably the most privileged, ignorant, and snobbish thing I've ever read. Well done.
