It's funny to me how ATRL makes it seem like Bangerz was a huge success but My Everything underperformed.
Bangerz outsold My Everything by like 200k worldwide. What a HUGE difference!

Plus, you have to factor in the sales decline. It doesn't matter though because My Everything will probably outsell it in the long run, given it still charts in the top 250 of iTunes WW.
Bangerz outsold My Everything in the US (not even outside the US), but let's use the US year-end charts for fair comparison.
Bangerz:
2013: 51
2014: 23
My Everything:
2014: 46
2015: 17
Also, My Everything is the MOST streamed album by a female artist on Spotify. It had much higher single sales than Bangerz and the My Everything era even outviewed the Bangerz era on Vevo despite all the media coverage of Miley's videos.
Sad that even with all the exposure Miley got, Ariana still wins. I think Miley's next era will be very humbling for her fans, considering the GP seems to be over her "controversial" antics.
