No shade because I have massive respect for the woman but how did Madonna become the Queen of Pop? She's not a strong vocalist nor was she particularly pretty, yet she managed to become the most successful female artist of all time.
Was it sheer determination? Talent? Luck? A mixture of things?
That's all you have to say? Wow.
Beyond the fact that it's disrespectful, it's also delusional to forget that beauty is subjective.
I don't know if we should take this thread seriously.
Umm I'm just stating facts, being pretty is usually a big part of being successful in the music industry/Hollywood. Image and looks are a huge factor when it comes to celebrities. I'm not saying that's the way it should be but that's the way it is.
And yes beauty is subjective but Madonna has never been seen as extremely desirable or one of the most beautiful women in the world like some of her contemporaries.
If anything though it's even more impressive that she's achieved what she's achieved without relying on looks.
