I'll roundup what happened: A female presenter wore a dress during a SWIMMING event and was objectified as well as criticised for the length of her dress. Some said she was dressed inappropriately, some even suggested she should be wearing trousers.
The Daily Fail in particular has published articles on the attire of the women instead of their athletic accomplishments, like they have done for the men. They also made remarks on the celebrations of British men who engaged in a hug, was deemed "not manly" and then compared them to Asian teams who do not conduct themselves in the same physical manner (a "pat on the back").
Their coverage has been both sexist and homophobic.
