Sure, there are some things we think happened/didn't happen and this turns out to be wrong, but I don't think it's anything supernatural. The Berenstain Bears stuff, for example, just seems like an example of chinese whispers; someone/some people spelled it wrong and it caught on. The idea that we've slipped in and out of parallel worlds with only a change in name of a children's TV characters to prove it just seems so...rubbish.

Well, my theory is – there are time-traveling particles, and assuming that in the future we take ahold of this and innovate it to every day, public use, one could theorize that someone in the future is making minuscule changes in the past to see how it's affects the future/our present.
