I guess .. I had a major personality overhaul when I was 11 and started high school (UK high school not US). I went from being a boring casual loner nerd to being an overly flamboyant guy who cared about 2 things: my hair and music. It worked and I became super popular but then I had a push from the throne 4 years later when my flamboyant drama-starting ways caught up to me and people got sick of me
Now i'm a boring casual loner again but I still do things to manipulate my online image which I think most people do.
While it was working though I felt like such an epic mass manipulator, it was literally like slipping on a costume every day and pretending to be a character
I change little facts about myself to people all the time and it feels like I play different characters to all the different people in my life
