Same. I only usually talk about music in depth with some of my music major friends, otherwise it's just typical talk. Award shows, video premieres, new songs, etc.

I do tend to bring music in most conversations but I'm not that into charts. Whenever I talk about music, I talk about new singles from a common favorite or some [silly/awesome] song I just recently heard. I love when my friends have commentary or new music to share though.

I talk about music with my friends and celebrites but even though I know the charts I'm not gonna be like oh that song is a flop unless I'm talking to my best friend who sometimes asks me that stuff. She hasn't asked me in a while though and hell half the people at my school listen to flops all the time and think they are better than the people who chart high.

If someone came to me and was like hey did you see Rihanna/Beyonce/Alicia keys new single chart at #5 I'd look at them like they have lost their minds.

My friends know how much I love Janet & Keri Hilson. I always tell them to buy their music instead of downloading it from LimeWire and the internet.

I used to, back in high school and college with just some of my friends. But of course,we don't talk about the charts,we don't care about that. But now, not anymore,especially since my officemates are older than me and they don't really care about music. Although I still get to chat with some of my friends and we still talk about it sometimes,but not all the time

Yes but it's limited. I only talk songs that are being shown in MTV Asia and MYX Philippines but if I talk about a song that is not released or whatever, they will be bored.
