Ezras motivation is irrelevant tbh. The problem with these movies is the directors they've hired and the fact that Warner Bros can't help but meddle in the editing and reshoots.
Hire better directors, trust them to do their job without interference and watch the cash flow in. Aquaman has potential if the suits keep their noses out.

I enjoy all the comic book movies which have been wrongly dragged from the past 3 years (Spiderman, Fantastic Four, Batman/Superman) but even I can't defend this trainwreck. An Ultimate Edition will definitely save it, but how many times can they use that card....
