A search warrant shows Stanley Holmes, 68, used to teach in Flushing, and is currently a track coach at Flushing Public Schools.
The school district said Holmes is the assistant cross country coach. The district said he was immediately suspended and any access to students or facilities has been terminated.
On Aug. 4 police in Tuscarora Township, that’s in Cheboygan County, got a call from a computer repair shop.
Investigators said Holmes brought his computer into Meister Plans Computer Repair in Indian River. That’s when the company’s owner claims he found child ****ography.
Police also searched Holmes’ home in the Cheboygan County community of Topinabee and said they found more files and thumb drives full of child **** and sexually abusive material.
Police said the victims appear to be in their pre-teens and teens.
