Oh hunty please don't. Newark is one of the most dangerous places in the USA. The crime in this city is OFF the wall.

When we were in NYC, we went to some outlet in New Jersey and we flew from Newark to Vancouver (BC). So I haven't seen anything besides the outlet and airport.

I was just there and honestly it's like a terrible NY knockoff. The Asbury Park beach is about as basic as it comes.

I've driven through and I like how they pumped my gas for me. I almost grew up in Trenton, but thankfully that was avoided.

Have relatives in Hoboken. Hoboken is a really cute place! But they said that only Hoboken and the waterfront area of Jersey City are good. The nearby cities like Newark have a lot of crime apparently.
