One of my best friends is a psychology major who is obsessed with the inner workings of a serial killer's mind . She watches countless documentaries about serial killers such as Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy, and Charles Manson (though she is adamant that Charles did nothing wrong)

She wants to become a psychiatrist and work in an asylum. She seems to think her interests are completely normal. What do you guys think? Do some of you share the same interests as her in researching serial killers and finding out what made them tick?

I dont necessarily find it weird or disturbing due to her interest in psychology, in fact i wouldnt mind doing research as well and having conversations with them (especially the cannibalistic ones)

What are your opinions?

their motive was fuel by their hatred of being poor and south korea's economy not having a trickle down effect so unlike most serial killers, they were not insane (at least not entirely)

Yes especially women who drown their babies.

Im not really interested in what they do but why they do it. And after reading 30 plus case files there is a general common feature: the women feel "compelled" to do it as if someone commanded them to it either by "God" or just some voice that manifested to them. Really eerie to me I don't want to have children with a woman

ive read stories of women going through postpartum depression who killed their children because they began to hate and resent them. if i was a woman i would scared to have a kid, because if if i didnt have postpartum depression, i would still hate that thing

I do find it really interesting to get into the mind of someone who would actually kill people. It's something most normal people wouldn't do due to having a better moral compass or too much of a guilty conscience to go through with. The motivations behind what they do, and whether they even believe what they do is wrong, is particularly interesting to me.

The people who like...marry serial killers who are in prison and form long-distance relationships with them, just for the fact that they ARE serial killers, though, disturb me. Giving me bug catcher tea.
