I went to Barcelona for a day trip when I was younger and I was on holiday with my family at the time in Salou, I loved it but when I went to Barcelona in April this year for a residential with my Travel and Tourism class, it was amazing, best city ever, the architecture and food was amazing, the people were so friendly, I hated the people that sold things everywhere in Barcelona, two women asked my friends if they could braid their hair and they got it done, they wouldn't stop pestering them to let them braid their hair, the beach was amazing, the weather was so warm, I loved Nou Camp, but we only got to do the museum as the stadium wasn't open to 3:00pm as there was *******ial rain, the metro was so handy, the thing that scared the absolute **** out of me was at 6:40am on the Thursday morning, a woman screamed, I think she got robbed and everyone was terrified, I couldn't sleep after that.
Barcelona is extremely expensive though so for anyone going there, make sure that you have enough money with you.
