Lately it seems people fall into a situationship with someone (a place where you & the person aren't together officially, but treat each other as such) & see one another as "bae", but never make it official.
I've been in one & I know so many who share this Same scenario or something similar.
Why is that?
Is this the new thing?
Are relationships going instinct in favor of less commitment type situations?
Yes, I know what you mean. I'm seeing three guys at the moment and all three like me and want to take it to the next level but I kind of just like sleeping with them After me and my ex boyfriend broke up, I've just become more accepting of polyamarous relationships. I'd rather be in a situationship than a relationship at the moment.
I guess it just seems so strange to me because I'm not used to seeing so many people have these said "things" with one another.
I think it has a lot to due with the way people 'court' one another these days. Me and my boyfriend had one before we decided to actually be "dating" and I think it just has a lot to do with technology and how you can casually develop a relationship with someone without any strings attached.
