Baía de Guanabara has been dirty for almost 50 years tho. Since I was a kid, the follow governments up promised to clean it. The smell is horrible

But Brasília have no sea and it's neither big enough to host the Olympics. Well, Brazil as whole isn't prepared...

Isn't Brazil one of the biggest economies in the world? Can't they get the place clean ASAP or something? Grab some equipment? Really, safety for the athletes and security for the people attending is the basics.
