They may deem ATRL a troll site because 60% of the quality of posts here are poor and half of the users on here are kids. Plus it's just endless stan wars, some people taking their stanning too far (making racist or homophobic posts - see SYG thread) etc.

However I believe it's the most known pop music forum on the internet. The amount of guests we receive, the site being used as references in articles, artists themselves using ATRL as receipts and so on. I wouldn't be surprised if PR teams and people who work in the industry lurk on here too for ideas or to see comments about the artists they work with etc.

You forgot to add that PR teams have accounts and use bots to rig views on here but yeah I can't think of any other pop music or music forums (apart from /mu/, and then I would argue that they even, just in different ways) are more influential on the internet

It is not necessarily trollish, but it is extremely petty a lot of the time. It definitely provides some laughs, but can also cause so many headaches if you take any of what people say here too seriously.

Yep. Music industry posts can be fun once in awhile but that gets boring so we need the "trolls" to spice things up a bit....ya know keep people interested when there isn't an event release happening.

Sometimes, but at the same time some members serve tumblr and are very easily triggered. I got a warning point a month ago because I mashed Lauren Jauregui and Halsey's names and added the word grunge
