People like you are the worst... if all these animals go extinct cuz we kill them and destroy their habitat we will die sooner rather than later, cuz the earth will make sure we go extinct as well... the planet can't keep up with us humans... I would never ever intentionally kill an animal (or human) except for reasons of self-defense or public safety.

That being said, if I was in a situation where I had to pick between saving a non-human animal or a human being, I would certainly pick the latter. It's subconscious favoring for one's own race.
