Beijing/London really set a bad precedent in that it created lofty expectations for all opening ceremonies to come.
I understand the horrible economic circumstances the country is in but can't help the underlying disappointment at the ceremony.
Feel bad for the people of Rio, forced into hosting games that will use public money to benefit a few and leave those in poverty.
