No way Trump can campaign in swing states, what should've been safe red states, and try to get the few blue states Obama won to get to 270 even if he does turn things around. From what I was taught (we get taught US Politics for a year in the UK in our Politics class), George Wallace was getting support from the "we hate blacks" supporters in the south who still wanted segregation. He didn't really do much for the religious folk in general, and especially in Utah.

a non driver or poor people dont have to get a drivers license to have identification you can get a State ID card which is $13 in NC, free for the homeless and for people over 70 in "NC" and If you lost your ID or drivers license and need a replacement you just go and get one your documents are already on file. My cousin actually lost his out of state Drivers License from PA and he recently moved to Fl so he called a DMV in PA and they sent him out a temporary paper ID card they stamped and signed it and told him to take that into the FL DMV to get a FL hard copy so your not making any sense in all honesty. You need a birth certificate and another form of identification like a Social Security to "originally" get one

NC is actually one of the cheapest states to obtain State identification cards in FL for factual example (where I'm at) the cost is $25 for a State issue ID or Drivers License

Also I can go to my brothers precinct and say I'm my brother and cast a vote and than go to my precinct and cast my vote. This is why IDs are needed it has nothing to do with the suppression of Black and Latinos

Okay believe what you want. Strict voter ID laws and called strict for a reason. It's proven that it leaves thousands out, and it's not proven that by doing so causes voter fraud!!!!

And there's no coincidence that these laws are found mostly in the Southern or swing states where there are a significant portion of minority voters.

In FL which is a swing state under a Republician governor, a state issue government ID is needed to vote and no cares or complains because it's common sense to have one

What don't you get? IDs shouldn't be the only means of voting.

If you have a registration card (which everyone does) and other means of identification like driver's license, SS card, college ID, etc. then that should be enough. Not everyone has IDs. What if you lose your ID right before Election Day? There are other ways to identify yourself. Strict voting laws depress votes across party lines and race and economic income level.

Also when my cousin lost his Drivers License he also lost his Social Security card and all he did to get a replacement for his Social Security card was apply for a new one and he didn't have to show a birth certificate or his ID because he didn't have the replacement ID yet he did show the temporary Paper ID the DMW sent him. He was on file at the Social Security office for already having one so he didn't need more documentation. The proces is simple and he is a dark skin Latino and no suppression took place and we're in FL

One research in 2011 found that 6-11% of Americans didn't have IDs. That's 19-35M people. It's a issue. Time you accept that.

As long as you have a home though, you should be sent a voter ID card for free. But I don't really see the importance of it at the end of the day, there isn't any evidence saying that a ton of voter fraud happens without an ID.
