Looks like she is returning to the earlier records' sound! Thank goodness. I really like the new song, I don't think it's necessarily as strong as some of the music on the first two, but tbh I always thought her album songs outshone the first singles anyway.
Don't get me wrong, Girl Talk wasn't awful, it just wasn't the sort of sound I enjoyed, I think it definitely split fan opinions.
I used to stan for her so much during the Made of Bricks / My Best Friend Is You eras. Girl Talk had some cute songs, but I didn't really like the sound.
