I was lead to Reboot and 4 Walls last year because of their acclaim, and I found out about Why So Lonely a few days ago. I really love all 3 a lot. Those are the only albums I have in my iTunes, but I've vibed with everything I've seen on YouTube (Girls Generation, 2NE1, Orange Caramel, Red Velvet). Are there any albums that are considered "required listening" that I should tackle first?

I would also receommend SNSD's first Japanese album, it's basically Kpop anyway lol

everyone says Reboot by Wonder Girls is a must and it's talked about/praised a lot... sorta like that recent Carly Rae album. listen to EX'ACT by EXO With that said, I think you should listen to title tracks from different groups first and use the MVs as visual aid to decide what's for you or not. Then from there, you can check out whoever you like's album

Pink Tape and Red Light by f(x) are generally considered (some of) the best k-pop albums.
Most of the time in k-pop however the title track/single is usually the best song from the album and there's not many b-sides worth bothering with though there are some exceptions.
