I just came back. I didn't think it would be good considering the reviews, but I'm SHOOK. LOVED IT!! So much fun! And Margot Robbie absolutely slayed. The JOKER is also amazing.

Overall, I really liked it! DON'T understand negative reviews. I laughed tons of times and it has action. The only cast members I didn't like were Viola, playing the same role she has been doing for years and Cara's wooden performance. She was so dam terrible as June.

Girl got a 10 second backstory and she whispered to the sword once, but it was already footage we had seen in the very first comic con trailer.

Didn't even get to see her absorb a soul, with that cool skull effect from the trailers.

Only things that made me pissed.

Now that I think about it, she had like two lines total. A mess.

This was okay. Not as bad as i expected but i went in with ZERO expectations after the terrible reviews.

Harley and The Joker were my fave part. The flash forward scene of her and the babies

Katana getting no backstory tho

Most of the people who review superhero films, happen to be fans themselves.

Yeah I heard about this too a while back but I still had high hopes for the movie. Now with the reviews out I'm not sure whether it's even worth watching

JUST SAW IT!

Of course, the internet yet again exaggerated. This movie was seriously not bad, it was a hell of a lot of fun! I can't wait to see the extended cut at some point if they release one.

Pros:
Harley and Amanda STOLE the show
The origin stories were really neat
Loved seeing Batman and Bruce Wayne
The final scene was great

Cons:
Jared Leto was barely in it and was pretty bad...why did he keep growling?
Wish the Joker cared less about Harley
The editing was weird...scenes definitely looked like stuff had been cut out
Too. Much. Music. Way too many music video sequences.

Might I add that Margot's delivery of Harley's lines and comedic timing were flawless? My theatre loved her.

WB better getting started on that Harley and Ivy movie.

Back in May there were screenings of the film in North Carolina with a lot more of the footage of Harley and Joker. It tested very poorly - the audience hated the abusive relationship thing and unanimously gave it poor scores as a result.

Now, in this film, it's a very different version of their relationship. It's not bad, just different.

I think at one point, without spoiling it, he was going to ditch her (you'll recognize it when you see it) but they edited it to change it up.

Critics overexaggerated the lack of Joker...he was definitely in there for a good amount of time

The beginning was def weird tho and the way they did the character introductions was weird

Everyone did a good job!

Cara is not a good actress but the bitch barely had lines where she actually talked so I don't see the big deal?

It was good! The critics were nitpicking the hell out of it

But Joker abusing Harley is an important dynamic in their relationship. Their relationship is not supposed to be a relationship with high school level type of problems.

More proof that Warner Bros. has no understanding of their characters and has no clue on how to present them in live action.

I didn't think Jared Leto was that bad, he just wasn't given the time to develop or justify his character. There were a lot worse things in the movie *cough* Cara *cough*

A huge **** YOU to all of you who had the nerve, audacity, and balls to say this was bad.

Pacing: Saw this mentioned a few times. Foot on the pedal since the first second. The most cohesive and simple storyline in the best way. Nothing out of place.
Harley: overly sexualized MY ASS. She was playful and BRILLIANT.
Joker: PERFECT amount of time for him. When he comes on the screen he OWNS the movie. This is not his movie but he is definitely the star.
Deadshot: Theater erupted during his scenes. Easily the jewel of this movie. Will acted his ass off.
Deleted scenes: Once again, everything paced beautifully. The only thing I remember missing was when she was pouring shots. It literally just skipped that minute and went into the dialogue from the remix trailer. It was cute but it wasn't a ****ing deal breaker.
Viola: YES. She DID that and took names. Literally.

Overall, THANK GOD they didn't go super deep like BvS because it would have lost the audience. The storyline was simple and the character development was insanely gorgeous. My only criticism was that I wished it was longer. The theater I was in gave it a standing ovation. Brilliant movie.

I LOVED THE INTRO!!! It introduced them in the most expedient way. I would have hated it if they did it randomly throughout the movie. Joker meeting Harely was ****ing ICONIC that was so ****ing amazing

The original version (the entire summary is on reddit) was actually pretty violent toward Harley. I agree with them changing it a bit (him electrocuting her, slapping her across the face, pushing her out of the helicopter) to make it a little less violent against women.
