It's all going to be trials on three levels. Fetching quests, then the Totem Pokémon and then the trial master (or whatever they're called).

Which is amazing, actually. We've all agreed that the Gym format was getting old and needed a revamp and here we are. Something that actually takes advantage of the roaming adventure.

I hate the fetching quests thing, is it gonna be like an mmo where it's repetitive and pointless? I wanna have gyms so I can gain badges and feel accomplished.

I guess the trial master is like a leader though, i'll wait 'till there's more information on it..

The reception to gyms being replaced with trials has been well received. People are excited for it and the new spin on things. I thot that's what people wanted anyway. It's great, it's different and very left field.

I'm excited for no gyms. The only thing worthwhile about them anyways was the leaders and what types they are. Although the basic water fire grass electric ones they have so far is kinna making me believe the games are still being made easier with each Gen.

Maybe after you beat the trails you can actually set up your own gym and have daily challenges from tough trainers or something

Doesn't this imply that we battle at least some of the trial captains?
I think the trials will just be more interesting gym challenges and stuff
