I put my feet on my leather couch poof and I ripped it at the seam.



I am unfamiliar with sewing and going about leather repairs so I am not sure what to do.

I'm posting this thread to ask for advice.

Are there any ways of repairing the rip without sewing (sewing is totally alien to me)? What's the best thing to do coming from my position?

Sewing is your best bet for a lasting fix. There are adhesives that claim to repair leather but you know, they're all just glues.

Search for a leather repairing glue kit thing. Although sewing isn't really hard. You could also hire a professional.

Or you could just be gentler on your furniture

you would need to turn it inside out to sew it, if it's a couch then i doubt that's possible.


honestly your best bet is to get some like leather repair tape/patches so it doesn't rip any further. you buy it in black and just tape over that one section.

Ew cut your toenails you should NOT be doing that to your couch. Gross.
