This is an interesting topic, never really thought about it.
I'm bicultural: french culture and my household culture. In the latter, being able to speak english is seen as a sign of success (something to do with colonization) so this gotta have influenced my perceptions.
So I always thought that english sounded "classy" (?) and easy; but I never really liked the rhythmic of it, it sounded way too choppy for me and I overall prefered French and my mother tongue as they sounded more "flowy".
Now it just sounds like any other languages to me.
edit: And also totally agree with Ben Ili down below. English is not a very passionate language. On this point: Romance language > English.
