Because they completely butchered the film in editing
The first version they showed to a select few was a lot better from what I've read
Their fault for not listening after what happened with BvS
I can't tell if people are being sarcastic or just plain ignorant.
It's getting bad reviews because critics generally think that its a mediocre film. It doesn't mean that fans won't like it. Though, as BvS indicates, it probably means the general public won't enjoy it.
I tend to hate acclaimed movies. It's the only hipster thing about me. I love movies that are panned because they don't talk themselves seriously and that leads to a fun viewing experience.
