Instagram and Twitter are very much still popular amongst news outlets and businesses. I mean at the moment, Snapchat is very much dominating, but I'm not certain how long it will last considering its target audience is not as diverse as the other two. But who knows?
Twitter to communicate news, or comment on stuff; Instagram to post pictures of yourself, Snapchat: sending pictures and chatting with people ? I just don't see Snapchat outlasting the other two.
Honestly I see Twitter biting the dust first, followed shortly after by Instagram. I'm sorry, but Snapchat screams longevity IMO, especially since it really brings something new to the table. Also, while Facebook remains king, it's reign will be over sooner than most think, since most of its demographic really are the older crowd. I dont know too many young ppl who still actively use it. Its just not interesting anymore, and has become the butt of many internet savvy jokes ala MySpace.
