in less than two weeks i'll spend a holiday week in neum.
any expierences or tips what i should visit besides the few things you can find on the net?
i plan to rent a car sometimes to make a few trips.
and what app (grindr, etc.) is used there?

I've never been there, although I would love to. I love countries that are part of former Yugoslavia (correct me if I offend anybody). I used to be obsessed with Croatia in high school

but you should totally visit stari most and mostar, but also some cute small villages where you can experience the culture much more! grmec is also interesting to see.

it is a long drive. 6hours is too much for a day. i'd say 2-3 hours one way maximum

i'm flying from dubrovnik and i want to visit croatia for a day too. any tips for beautiful places without millions of tourists? about 2 hours away from neum

My parents are from BiH (Banja Luka & Prijedor). Idk how it looks there since I haven't been there in a long, looong time and can hardly remember anything, but you have to visit Sarajevo (the capital) of BiH for sure.

I don't know about that area, I live in northen part of Croatia

Hun if you wanted to spend time on the Adriatic coast without being around too many tourists then you should've actually taken a plane to Podgorica instead and stayed somewhere in Bar or Ulcinj both historic parts of those towns respectively are gorgeous but they aren't full of tourists and they're a lot cheaper than other places on the Adriatic

And in all honestly Neum is so random to me. I've never heard of someone actually vacationing there

i chose neum because it was cheap and it seems like a good starting point to drive around in croatia, bosnia and montenegro
i don't mind the city i'm sleeping in being full of tourists and a day full of sleeping on the beach and eating in the hotel is great sometimes, as long as i have the possibilty to look around for lesser known and crowded places

idk..i never heard of anyone that willingly goes to Neum for hollidays

maybe people that are super broke and who didn't renew their passports so they can't go to Croatia

why shouldn't one? on the internet it does not looks like an ugly place or sth like that
