I'm assuming that a good portion (if not all) of the "Alolan form" Pokémon will be from the first generation as a nod to the 20th anniversary.

Since the accurate rumors, more or less, confirm that we're going to see:

Alolan Rattata & Ratticate - Dark type
Alolan Butterfree - Bug/Psychic type
Alolan Abra, Kadabra, Alakazam - Fighting type
Alolan Nidoqueen & Nidoking - Poison/Fighting type
Alolan Growlithe & Arcanine - Water type
Alolan Doduo & Dodrio - Fighting/Flying type


I'd also love to see:

Alolan Oddish, Gloom, Vileplume - Grass/Fairy or Grass/Fire
Alolan Poliwag, Poliwhirl, Poliwrath - Fire
Alolan Gastly, Haunter, Gengar - Fairy or Poison/Fairy

Overall, I think this is a really cool idea. I like it much better than megas. I wonder if these forms will get their own spot in the national dex, or if they'll just appear in the Alola dex. Also, I wonder if you can find the regular versions of these Pokémon, too.

I want them to reverse Dewgong's colors and make her Dark/Fairy

Hopefully it gets some cool lava detail.
