What "stats" are you talking about? How many #1 and #2 singles does she have? Way many more than the girl in your avatar. How many multi-platinum albums? Far more than her and several of the girls that some people bow down to in here. How many successful world wide tours? And we could go on.
So the argument about "stats" does not fly, my dear Lethal.

Such a weak argument does not a valid point make. Your circles are probably not the most educated or knowledgeable about music history.

Beyonce has also been influenced by Mariah and Whitney, Britney has been influenced by Madonna as well. I'm not knowledgeable about kpop so I can't speak on that but in America, Janet's impact is less expansive than that of the true legends. Sure her dancing inspired some people but her music (the most important thing) is kind of left behind in the past.
If you walk up to random people on the streets and ask which 5 women are the most influential musicians of all time, odds are Janet won't be mentioned at all. Sad but true.

Yeah, and I'm sure these random people will name Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Joni Mitchell, Carly Simon, Carole King, Janis Joplin, Stevie Nicks, Ma Rainey, Mahalia Jackson, Dinah Washington, Sade Adu, Joan Baez, Celia Cruz, La Lupe, Bonnie Raitt, or even Aretha Franklin. Sure, Jan.
