My taste in music has goten more broad over the years. I started as a top 40 fanatic, then had a emo/gothic phase where I listened everything from rock, hardrock, metal and alternative and currently I also listen to classical music, jazz and more R&B/Urbanmusic.
I didn't really like Lemonade that much when it was released, it was just not my cup of tea, I prefered IASF to it.
But since then I graduated high school, took all my final exams, applied to college, got accepted into college and now I'm making plans to moving for college this autumn. I'm slowly maturing. I'm 18 by the way.
The thing is, I enjoy Lemonade so much more and it grew on me immensely. I played PRISM a couple of days ago and it was tiring and not as enjoyable as I remembered, at least the first half.
I'm still in my teens but my music taste changed a lot from 2014. Before that I was listening only pop music. Now I have a very broad taste listening all genres (in particular Hip-Hop/Rap and R&B).
I've become more open minded for different types of music. I am a 100% electronic music hoe and still am but these days i listen to non-electronic stuff way more than I used to.
I was 19 when I started listening to Tiziano's music, it changed me as in it's the first time I had ever listen to a male Italian artist who is also gay, he changed my life for the better.
It has progressively gotten more nostalgic for me.
This so much!
I'm 26 and I can't get into these newer generation of pop artists for example. I've seen It all already. And much better.
I always went more Indie. Not only the guitar sound but Indie/Alt Pop.
I don't know what's on the radio or in the charts cause I don't listen to them.
I cultivated my own kind of style and stick to It even tho I'm into every genre cause there's at least one artist or band that is doing the genre REALLY good or doing an incredible job with crossing over.
It's hard cause ATRL tends to stan for really basic and boring things and the really GOOD stuff gets looked over.
But I have my corner in here and my sistrens that get me.
