It's one of the best songs off 1989 but she could've done more with the video and promoted it better. IA it's very cinematic but maybe a longer video with talking bits in between (like JT's What Goes Around music video) might have gotten the audience more connected to the couple in the story. Because I've always found the lyrics very heartbreaking, but the way Taylor and Scott were directed in the video didn't do it justice.
