She has a good sense of melody tbh.

I listened to that Dreezy album, but none of the songs are as memorable as Deepthroat, Vagina, Pedophile, etc.

I'm just saying though... I don't stan for her.

Whenever I hear a new female rapper I instantly compare her to Nicki and so far, none of them can touch her.

Never listened to Dreezy. I thought for ages that people were just spelling Drizzy wrong

Maybe I need to give her album another listen. I always need to play an album at least twice to get into it.

This is the problem.

It's not a problem, I just expect them to be great lyricist. Let's be real, females can't be mediocre like the men and expect to blow up.

Iggy is an exception, but look at her now.

Azealia is a great lyricist

You can't listen to a new artist and immediately compare them to another.
You're almost bound to not like them.

Iggy blew up because her label was pushing her really hard. There were really trying to make her a superstar and even planned an arena tour for her first album.

If they gave those other female rappers the same budget they would blow up too. Sadly I don't see that happening anytime soon as pushing Iggy didn't really pay off.

The next big female rapper would really have to be someone who manages to create a following on their own like Nicki.

Not if I'm going in with an open mind.

I just don't care to listen to female rappers who can't rap as well as Nicki, tis all.
