I don't think it's Synchro evolution - unless it works differently for final evolutions like Greninja. Otherwise they may just "identify" it as Mega-Greninja. It's clearly to do with moves and not evolution - at least the "synergy attacks" using the diamonds.

I'm expecting us to either 1) have 4 new Pokemon and a small emphasis on features like the synergy attacks and maybe 1 small thing else or 2) have 0-2 new Pokemon and make the trailer feature-heavy instead of Pokemon-heavy. I'm also expecting the evil team to be revealed at some point this month

The arm dance was for a special move tho so i wonder is Ash greninja just for the anime to make it look differently from normal Greninja or will only a few Pokemon in game (e.g. Starter Pokemon) get such formes along with the move

this is hurting my head, why can't they just focus on creating new great pokemon and stop trying to make a handful of already overly popular/powerfulof pokemon even more so.

I think it'll be this case only for Greninja tbh or certain final evolutions. I think the others - first stages will just use the move.

Why they gotta boost geninja though, its already going to get a mega (unless that was just a gimmick they scrapped), why can't they give some love to under powered pokemon.
