According to industry experts at Hits Daily Double, Fantasia ' s new album, The Definition Of, will debut next week with sales of only 35,000 copies. This will mark the lowest debut of Fantasia's career.

The Definition Of is led by the singles Sleeping With The One I Love and No Time For It. Neither singles have impacted the r&b charts with many people unaware she has an album out. The album was released Friday, July 29th.

Fantasia's last album, Side Effects of You, opened with 96,000 copies in 2013 and has sold 300,000 copies to date. Due to the low sales, RCA records stopped promotion on the album 5 months later. Will we see an extended promo run with the new album?

well those are similar numbers to Tamar, Jazmine Sullivan and Mary J Blige's latest albums and are pretty good numbers for the r&b sales climate imo
