Just curious. In my country it is very popular to do mushroom hunting and I personally love to do it. Just today I found a full basket of mushrooms, two baskets yesterday.

How about you? Is this activity popular in your country? Do you personally do mushroom hunting? How many kinds of mushrooms do you pick up? And do you even eat mushrooms?

Yes, I love it. It's very popular in Czechia. I pick up only 3 kind of mushrooms, because I can tell them apart from the poisonous one. I don't eat them but I don't want to poison my mom.

I pick a few kinds of mushrooms but practically only the "brown" ones (hříbky, hnědáky, babky, kozáky) with two more colourful exceptions (lišky, křemenáč). I don't go for exotically coloured mushrooms because I am not used to pick them and I really don't want to poison myself after picking a poisonous mushroom after going through some pics online and thinking that this particular mushroom would surely be ok.
