Luck was just on the British Empires side in terms of being more advanced than the countries they colonised.

You don't know that. Also your definition of advanced is probably extremely westernized which isn't surprising, and that's not even shade. We are all victims of Euro-centric mindsets. However, in the case for the US, the British wouldn't have survived without assistance of Native Americans. In all honestly, the British weren't really more advanced, they were just less humane.

We share common values, cultures, and of course, language. Since World War 2, English became more spoken than French, German and Russian - advancing business and science globally with just under half of all Europeans now speaking the language.

As you already mentioned, the cultural industries in the Anglo dominate on a global level with over $20 billion in exports, with the rest of the world equating to around $15 billion combined.

Anglo also outranks on the World Giving Index as all of the aforementioned countries not only have the wealthiest economies, we're charitable too in assisting the most impoverished countries.
