Ok I've never been a fan of Katy but Rise is good. I don't see why anyone would hate it though... It's mature and hopefully Katy takes this direction in KP4. I love the lyrics and the melody is great. She might not be able to sing it live but that's forgivable as long as she makes good music like Rise.

Btw, congrats to the katycats who joke about its not doing very well on the charts rather than fuming and embarrassing themselves. It's not like Katy Perry is unsuccessful or something. She's doing more than fine and I'm sure that she'll smash once her lead comes out. She's not stupid either. Katy is one of the smart celebrities out there.

Rise is an experimental and risky song that simply doesn't connect with the GP.

GP isn't interested in this song, they're waiting for ha lead single

And from the reviews I've read it hasn't connected with the critics either.

Because Björk, the experimental chanteuse doesn't chart either.

Regardless of whether you like it or not, it' her worst single in a decade. I like Rihanna's James joint but it would be a terrible single. Rise is fitting for its purpose but nothing about it says hit.

The song is too risky for the GP, I think.
