Nick Jonas Offered Millions to Perform at RNC Concert
Jonas wouldn’t have been able to play the event because of a pre-scheduled appearance at a Roc Nation event in New York, according to TMZ.
Nick Jonas reportedly turned down millions of dollars to perform in Cleveland after the Republican National Convention in late July.
The singer was offered approximately $2 million by a “private donor” to play a free concert on July 24 as a thank-you to the people of Cleveland for hosting the RNC, TMZ reports. The show was intended to be an “All Live Matters”-themed event.
So is this TMZ's way of exposing these people as Trump supporters?
I think more as republicans than Trump supporters, however it seems like they are in the pool of republicans that will vote regardless if it's Donald or not just to support their beliefs and values.
Hmmm 2 million of dollars are not even worth it if you career is going to be ended for supporting Trump, maybe he supports Trump but he doesn't show it because most of his fans don't like him also his family is a supporter of him I wouldn't doubt he is with him but only pretend he is not.
If I were in that situation I'd almost be tempted to perform and then donate all the money to a charity like Black Lives Matter or an LGBT organisation or maybe even a charity aimed at helping Mexican immigrants.
But then performing for Trump is a recipe for disaster for a career like his.. even if he made it clear he was donating the money.
