I'm just saying I hope it's going to get better than season 6, I loved season 1-4, season 5 was little underwhelming but still good.
Season 6 was unwatchable, it was just repeating itself- they found safe place, turned out it wasn't that safe, they met bad people, they went and fought bad people while some zombies were around. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the last 5 minutes + the shock after Glenns 'death'.

This is common knowledge. The show isn't overstaying it's welcome, it's bowing out gracefully once the main plot GRRM has written has concluded. A fitting end for one of the all-time great television shows

I think it's enough, season 7 is probably going to be kings vs. queens and season 8 is probably going to be people vs. white walkers.
And I think season 7 is going to have only 7 episodes and season 8 only 6 episodes. But I think with the budget they have it's going to be perfection like the last 2 episodes of season 6. So many dragon and fight scenes

I also think that all the episodes are going to have at least 50+ minutes with the final being easily 100 minutes or something, I think they now what they're doing.

They're planning to do sixteen more episodes, 8 for each season

TWD is becoming more & more trash with each season. And the show is deviating too much from the comics.

I get what you mean about the same thing happening (Not much else can happen during a zombie apocalypse. People build a home, others want it and try to take it), but it was still a great season. The whole "Glenn's death" was the WORST part because my hopes were diminished! I was praying he was dead and gone! I'm hoping they actually do follow the comic books, when the new season starts, and let Negan and Lucille send him off to Heaven!

As expected. The show runners have been saying this for years.

I hope after it ends we'll get an anthology series set in TWOIAF/Planetos where each season is a different story. That way, one season can be the Dance of Dragons, another can be about Dunk & Egg, and another can be about Robert's Rebellion.

So many possibilities.

Not to me, or the millions of others who adore it. I like that it deviates from the comics, personally. It's not as predictable.

And the addition of characters that aren't in the books - has only made it better. I'm talking about Daryl, specifically.
