the point stands that you don't really seem to understand why qualifies as 'influential'
you should have titled your thread , is Beyoncé influential to radio music , if u wanted a better shot at dragging her ,she doesn't strive for radio success much any more (Sorry was her first legitimate attempt in a while)
Beyoncé is incredibly influential musically, she's cited as an inspiration by the likes of Tinashe, Grimes, Zara Larson, and a bunch of these other girls that are coming up and taking music and taking even the smallest of cues from Beyoncé's sound and career. just because YOU don't see it doesn't mean it isn't happening
i've never seen these tinashe-beyonce comparisons.
ahhh all these Beyoncé threads lately - the way people try to diminish her career, influence, sales, critical acclaim....literally everything. If it makes you feel better, do you guys
If y'all just used the ATRL search button, you'd find endless threads with receipts of Bey's influence. I remember Ascension specifically serving essay posts spilling the tea.
Also, Justin did not influence tropical. He collabed with Jack U for Where Are You Now, with a musical style that was already semi popular with Lean On and more. He saw the muscial style could catch him a mature audience and hits so he copied that style for his whole album and hopped on a trend at the right time.
and there are many songs out there that sound like Beyoncé songs and y'all know it so can it lmao!
Y'all don't want me to each reach into the K-pop spectrum for all the clones

The Irreplaceable and Take A Bow comparison is a bit redundant considering they both had the same producers. Stargate was even criticized with Take A Bow because of lack of originality with production.

And they also had the same producers for the GGGB song as well, I assumed the song would be Take A Bow because many people try to compare the two.

it wasn't Take A Bow. I used Good Girl Gone Bad (the song) and yeah some of these had the same producers but she still put the sound on the map first. The only reason many of these artists even recorded these songs was bc Irreplaceable was so huge. Just like Rih did w/ Calvin Harris and then everyone wanted to make songs with him that sounded similar to WFL. Still influential
How can people actually say that an artist, who is almost 20 years in her career, who has consistently been able to extend her legacy while showing no sign to slow down anytime soon, producing amazing albums, being cited as an influence by so many artists, getting the most praise from her peers, did not have any impact musically or on pop music's landscape.
From her HUGE hits Crazy In Love to Irreplaceable (that alone started a trend for so many, also Big Girls Don't Cry), to all the R&B and urban music that did not make impact chart wise but still influenced so many young artists.

Beyonce does have a "sound" that's really unique to her. This sound resembles the same traits of her voice and stylistic delivery (WHICH NO ONE can replicate) the edgy, bright brassyness in her voice..like a trumpeter.
It's always present in her music
Crazy In Love, Work It Out, DejaVU, Ring the Alarm, Freak'em Dress, Lost Yo Mind, Schoolin Life, ENd of Time, Single Ladies, Don't Hurt Yourself, Daddy Lessons,
This innate artistry is really authentic and can't be replicate, in the way that she does..the dart-like articulate belting phrasing..it's like her rapping in perfect melody in the 5th octave..no one does that loll..
Her brass-tinge pop sound has been replicated by Cassie, Amerie, Ciara, again in 5th Harmony and Little MIx, KPop..including Jason Derulo..Beyonce started the prominence of this type of production back in 2003..with a classic!
Other than that, musicians and vocalists are inspired by her vocal compositions, chord patterns etc
I.E Ariana: "I would try so hard to mimic all Beyoncé’s little runs and ad-lib things. They are so precise. It’s like math. Remember the Destiny’s Child version of ‘Carol of the Bells?’ I took it apart, put it in GarageBand, and dissected it all. That’s how I learned about harmonies and runs and ad-libs. Thank you, Destiny’s Child!”'
Adele's and Sam's smith stylistic ornaments are very reminscient to Beyonce's subtlety and tenderness on I Am..on her 3rd Album!
Beyonce's vocal artistry is EXTREMELY underrated..the Musicianship in Don't Hurt Yourself is literally next level..Like who uses a technical based singing to blend Metal Rock-Soul-Gospel and Funk in one melodically thrilling way..No one is doing it this generation.

ugh! yes! She doesn't have a 100% "distinct" sound but you can tell if a song is her song or not by the way the person sings it.
Raining Men by Rih (for example) sounds like a Bey song bc of her phrasing, rap-singing and delivery. This is the same style that Bey would use for songs like Diva or Videophone. On the opposite end of the spectrum, we can say Love On The Brain also sounds like something Bey would sing. Again, this is not shade to Rih. Just using these as examples of how Bey's style has range.
We can even say this Rita Ora song sounds like a Bey song bc the delivery as well:
Bey to a T.
Sonically, she also has a noticeable style. This is a blatant Bey song:
so she might not have kickstarted a sound fad in mainstream music recently but that's only bc her influence goes beyond one style

Sis that's all jack white, the sound the vocals etc, that is his signature sound, the dude is a mastermind
