I'm pretty sure only 1 girl died while I was attending high school. She attempted suicide by hanging herself and was left in the hospital, but she died like the next day.
The year after I graduated 2 boys died in separate accidents. 1 speeding motorcycle and 1 crashed his car into a tree.
Five people so far who attended my high school or taught died, I never met any of them.
A female sophomore student in April 1997? died from an a gunshot wound, allegedly because she witnessed a crime. Don't know what it was but, I was told she saw something that she was traumatized by.
A teacher (I've never met), died last year (March 2015) in her bed due to a brain aneurysm. I've never met her, but she was really pretty , but she was like 46? Like I said, I never met her, but she taught the senior class. My teacher was so heartbroken, to the point that she let us chill for like the whole week.
There was a gunfight on Summerfields Blvd at night in January 2013 and two students died.
In October 2001?, a Chemistry teacher committed suicide by overdosing on his anti-depressants.
That's all I know who died at my high school. Nobody died this year fortunately.
I can't think of anyone who died while I was still attending. I know one boy a grade lower than me died because a drunk driver crashed into his car. So unfortunate
My senior year this kid in my grade everyone loved went to the hospital for generally safe surgery but the Doctors accidentally nicked something during the procedure and he died. I was very shocking and upsetting, especially because it was right before graduation
Well this one freshman kid took his own life when I was a sophomore. I didn't know him but a lot of people knew him and it was very impactful. No one was expecting it and the atmosphere was gloomy for about a couple months.
During summer of 2012 (11th grade for me), one of the most popular/well-liked/smartest people committed suicide. He was a twelfth grader and at the time he had gotten into Oxford, he was actually likeable, not douchey, etc. He jumped off the construction of a parking lot at a nearby mall.
a boy had just graduated high school in summer of 2014 and he jumped into a cold lake after being hot temeprature outside and they said how that sudden body temerature presure made his heart fail. I will never forget the reaction our informatics teacher had when she learned that one of her students died...
This actually happened to my mother recently, but she didn't die. Anyway, my closest friend died in high school. She was in every one of my classes apart from 2, so that was tough as hell.
