Lol it's no rocket science, even iOS gets more complicated sometimes doing simple tasks.

I don't really consider myself stupid just cuz I don't know how to use a specific interface. Some people are just clumsy with tech.


That said I've owned androids and iphones and they both are about the same level of ease for me.

True. All Android users I know come to me for help. I've never owned one in my life yet all those people be coming to me.

So they're either stupid and can't work their phones or the phones don't work because it's Android. Not sure. Maybe both. Hard to say

That's funny because when I show them my "Close all" app button, and lots of other features, I get "Wow, I wish iPhone had that, it would make things so much more convenient"

Same with the notification center with all the quick access buttons.

Functions =/= Problems

I know a lot of people that run into issues with their Android phones, and it's usually the phones that run bloated versions of Android rather than Stock Android.

Close all? Why would iOS, with its superior RAM management need to close anything manually? Any time an app takes up a lot of RAM, any open app is closed automatically. Be sure to tell your iOS friends that if they want to clear all of the RAM and start fresh all they have to do is hold the power button until the swipe to power off screen comes up and then press and hold the home button until it goes back to the home screen.

I'm not surprised they don't know about it. When you rarely need to use a feature it can go unnoticed. I know that when I deal with Android I'm always having to do maintenance. It's such a chore. But I suppose being able to change how app icons look comes at a price
