Do people not think there is a bit of a gap in the market for someone like Niall, though? Like, whilst Bieber and 4/5 of One Direction have lost their squeaky clean image they briefly had Niall has had the sense not to cover himself in tattoos

I agree, but I think that he wouldn't mind if he ends up being successful because it also means that people enjoy your music. Still success isn't his main goal.
Btw I think it will take some time before he releases anything.
