I'm surprised she is still mentally strong after what blackground did to her. Any other person who had to deal with what she did since the age of 12 would have committed suicide. Like they tortured her. To put her on chemicals that made her only eat 500 calories a day is the definition of dangerous. Then they still told her she was fat when she filmed demonstrate.

They literally starved her. Also they oversexualized her as a teen. They had her stuff her bra during the leave video with chicken cutlets to make her have boobs. I remember there is a pic of her at like 13 wearing a necklace or a shirt that said jailbait. I hope Barry burns in hell. I'm starting to believe that he had a part in Aaliyah's murder expecially since she was reportedly trying to leave blackground.

I will forever hate Blackground - she's previously said that there was a lot going on behind the scenes, and I think with what was recently stated - it barely scratches the surface. I'm sure they worked a deal with her to not say much in order to release her from her contract. I'm glad things have turned around for her - she is truly deserving of her freedom and to be able to release an album. She's ridiculously talented, and she's super genuine. <3

If you read my post, you'd notice that I said I was referring to her hair and lack of an eyebrow piercing when I mentioned I found her more attractive a couple years ago than I do now.

In ALL honesty, I never found JoJo attractive in her Blackground years... at all.

I think she looks soooooo much better now. I couldn't pinpoint what it was, but it's probably the weight gain. She just looks so amazing with a healthy weight on her.
